SFPW hosted 22 top collegiate photography educators and administrators from across the country as part of the first annual week-long Adobe Summit on August 3 - August 9, 2008. Adobe Evangelist Julianne Kost wowed the group with Lightroom 2.0's upgrades, changes and the best practices for using this dynamic software in the classroom. Adobe educator Bob Rose informed participants as to technological changes within the industry. Mac-on-Campus representative Bill Gratton explored the newest photography hardware available.
The Summit, arranged and coordinated by SFPW Digital Programs Director Jerry Courvoisier, was a great opportunity for photographic educators to meet and dialogue about ways to improve their programs and how Lightroom 2.0 can play a large part in their training.
